How is Gentrol IGR Used for Drain Flies?

Gentrol IGR is an insect growth regulator that effectively breaks the insect life cycle. It can help treat drain fly infestations by controlling the population and prevent fly maturation. This spray should be combined with other treatments methods.

  • Follow with a drain gel to remove organic buildup
  • Spray Gentrol IGR in an around areas where flies come from
  • If flies do not stop after multiple and proper attempts, you may need a plumber to check for cracks in your main line.

Use in Food Handling Environments

You can apply Gentrol as a general surface spray, spot, or crack treatment in both food and non-food areas of food handling establishments. This includes commercial areas, loading docks and warehousing. For the best control of drain flies and fruit flies: Apply Gentrol to areas where flies are breeding. For drains, apply product into and around the downspout. Repeat applications at 2 to 4 week intervals depending based on your assessment.
